HOLY FRIDAY

Hey people! I think that you are more interested in a day of my Easter, a lot of my classmates told you about the trip in Andalucía, so I thing that you are bored about that, and I will change a bit the theme. I want to explain you my Holy Friday, all Holy Fridays, we go with the family in a city of Catalunya, this year, in Tarragona, our city. Each year, we are more than 25 people! At first, we went to the Amphitheatre, so my family is from Vimbodí i Poblet and they didn’t visit there yet, and they are so happy to go. Bernat and I go to the Roman construction with them to explain the history and the curiosities, we took some photos and we visited all, including the place of the battle, the church… After, when we finished the visit, we went to “Casa de la Festa”, I have a lot of little cousins, so they were so happy to watch "nanos", "gegants" and "bèsties".
But... it was the time to have lunch, we were very hungry because we have walked a lot with kids and old people, we went to the restaurant "Les voltes", a very important restaurant of Tarragona, that it's World Heritage Site by UNESCO, in the restaurant there are roman subtractions! They are amazing! Then, when we were full, we watched the procession of Holy Friday, we were two hours more or less there, and the kids were so tired. Then, we decided to went to my grandparents' home to eat "LA MONA"! My fathers, Bernat, my cousin and me went to a bakery to buy it. It's delicious!
After, our family returned to Vimbodí i Poblet, it was late and they want to return home, it was a perfect day! I saw a lot of my family and we did a lot of things! Thanks and see you soon!

Easter Holidays

The day of Easter, I was waiting for my godparents. They were coming to my home at midday more or less for celebrate the Easter. When they came, they gave us, to my brother and I, two "mones" made all of chocolate.

After this we had the lunch and later we took some photos together because we haven't seen my godparents for a long time, and we spook all together about how where our marks in school and in the conservatory.

Later I played the piano for my godparents because they wanted to hear me and because they didn't hear me playing the piano for a long time.

My godparents stayed in our home for dinner and they left late, about 12 am more or less. This day was very nice and amazing.

This 29th of March

This year, like every year, on Monday after easter, I go with my family to my uncle's house where there is a lot of grass and place to play and do whatever you want. This year, I spent a great day but my grandparents didn't come because my grandfather was ill.

I am the godmother of my little cousin called Biel, and I have to gift him a "mona" every year. He loves chocolate! So the first thing that I did when I arrived there, was give him his chocolate.

I spent a great day with my family; my mother, my brother, my grandmother, my cousins and my uncles. I played volleyball with my cousins before lunch and the food that my grandmother and my aunt did was so good! After lunch I talked with my cousins and we laughed. I returned home very early because the next day I had to go to school. It was a great day.

School trip + Easter holidays

Hi! it's been many time since I posted something here! I'm glad to tell you that im back again to explain you some affairs that happened recently like two or three weeks ago.

First, let me explain you that we where on a school trip to Andalucía! Once when I was little I wet there but I can't remember so much from that family trip...Anyway I'm here to tell you a bit of what I've done there.

Monday morning we went to Andalucía by AVE, it took like four hours more or less and when we arrived we went first to Córdoba, a wonderful city with lovely narrow streets and white houses. We spent there two days visiting the cathedral or the mosque. Probably was one of my favourites citys from Andalucía.
Then, we went to Granada but sadly we didn't visit the Alhambra like I wished. Although we visited Albaicín(a small neighborhood), with beautiful views from the whole city. On the same day we went by bus to Sevilla and there we went to places like Spain's square, Triana or ''La Giralda''. The most enchanting sights of Sevilla was Triana's bridge at late night. Friday evening we took the AVE again to come back home.

Following that trip we had some short easter holidays for a week that I spent being at home and hanging out. Monday morning I went to a family meeting. There I had a good time eating some typical catalan food like calçots, la mona or  bread with rubbed tomatoes. We also had a play between two teams and we won!

At least they were a nice holidays made for relaxing and enjoying the warmly received spring!

-Maria
Before Easter vacations, all the class went to Andalucia for end of the year trip. We spend five days here. We went by AVE at more or less 9 o’clock at morning on Monday. It was 4 hours of journey. We were so tired! The first stop was in Cordoba. We arrived at 1 o’clock. At first at all we went to the hotel and we left our suit cases there. After that we had free time to visit a little the streets near the hotel of Cordoba during all the evening. Then we went to have dinner in the hotel and at night we went out with the teachers. He didn’t want it, we were exhausted and we wanted to stay in the hotel. Finally we arrived to hotel and we could sleep until the next day. At Tuesday morning we visit with a guide the streets of Cordoba, we had lunch in a fabulous restaurant, it was so beautiful. During the evening we visited the Mesquite of Cordoba and the “Alcazar”. Then we had a little of free time and after we went to have dinner to the Hotel. This night we stayed to the hotel and we could relax. This day was the most stressing day, Wednesday. We wake up in Cordoba and we left this hotel and we past all this day in Granada, there was more or less 2 hours to here. In Granada we saw the old area of the city. Then at evening we went by bus to Seville. It was a large trip, 4 hours. It was horrible at the starting of the journey, but then we started to sing “sevillanas” and it was so cool. When we arrived we went to the hotel we left our baggage there and then we went to have dinner in a restaurant. At night we went to a pub in Triana neighborhood. It was very funny, all the teachers danced. Finally we went to the hotel to sleep.
At Thursday I woke up so ill, during the night I felt cold and I caught a cold. All this day we visit the capital of Andalucia, Seville. We saw the “Giralda” and the cathedral of Seville. We had lunch in a restaurant and after that we had free time to buy souvenirs or see the city. At night we went another time to these pub. And then we went to the hotel to sleep the last night in Andalucia.
Friday was the last day, he had all the morning free time and at the evening we went to de AVE station to go to Tarragona. We arrived at 8 o’clock. It was a great travel with all the classmates.

Andalucia and my Easter Holidays

The week before Easter, my classmates and I went to a schooltrip of five days in Andalucia, specifically in Córdoba, Granada and Sevilla. The first day we went to the Ave station and we all were so excied. In the Ave, we saw Jorge Cadaval from Los Morancos!
When we arrived to Córdoba and we stayed in the Hotel to install, later the teachers let us to have free time to visit the place. At night we went to a pub to have some party.

-The second day we had a visit with a guide of the city and later we went to Mezquita and Alcázar.

-The third day was the day were we stayed in the three cities. At the morning we took a bus to Granada. We stayed all the day in granada having a guied visit of the city and eating there. Later we had another bus to go to Sevilla, when we arrived we went to the lodging house and then... More party!

-The fourth day we went to the Alcàzar from Sevilla and the Cathedral, We saw the Spain Square too, I loved it. When we arrived to the lodging house... Can you guess it? Come on it's not difficult...
Party!!!

-The last day arrived and we were sad:( We all took our suitcases and went to the Ave station to return home. It was really sad but... we were so tired.
It was a great experience that I really want to repeat, Sevilla, Córdoba and Granada are really beautiful.

This were my holidays because the week after the trip wasn't special. I can say thanks because I slept so much (I love it.). But I can say that I needed this holidays so much, because of the stress of the routin of every day... The only day that was great, was the Easter day, because my sister came home and came with all her dogs, and I love them, specially a little one, called Freya, a Husky.

FINAL TRIP

Hi!
Today I'am going to talk about our trip to Andalucia before Easter. But I am going to explain you only one day, because all the week is too long and this text will be enormous.
So first of all, for me, the most beautiful place I have visited on the trip is Cordova, because it doesn't seem a city, it's like a town but big, it has a lots of thin streets and all of them are painted of white. But I am going to explain you the last day, which we were in Sevilla.
So, the teachers said to all of us, that the last day we could sleep more time and stand up a nine a.m. but me and two classmates more with the teacher, went running an hour to see more city, so we arrive at Benito Villamarin, the stadium of Real Betis Balombié, we took two or three photos and we went to the hotel to have brekfast. After brekfast we went to the city centre and visit the Giralda and some good places of there. Before going to the AVE the teachers gave us some free time for dinner and walking, so me and the same classmates of the running, went to see another time the stadium to go to the official store and buy something. For casuality the players of the team were finishing the training and we could see all of them and take photos together. After that we took a bus and we arribe at the hotel to take the AVe to return to Tarragona.

Easter holydays

When the Easter holydays began, on Saturday 19th, I stayed in home to rest. On Sunday, I went to my parcel, and enjoyed my vegetable garden. I loving staying there, it's my moment, a moment for me, my hobby.
Nevertheless, the next day, Monday 21st, I had to go to work in a hipical centre; where I help, I learn, and I work as an instructor, I have been there three days: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Tuesday I couldn't go because I went to the doctor to take off the clay of my arm. i broken my arm while I was ridding a horse, one month before. The next days I went to my aunt's hause and we went to walk, we stayed in home...  And after, on Monday, her husband, my godfather gived me the mona cake. I finished my holydays too tired.

Andalucía 2016

The week before Eastern, I was with my classmates and my teachers in Andalucia, exactly in Córdoba, Granada and Sevilla. All the cities, the monuments, the streets and the restaurants liked me, but the thing that I loved was the city of Córdoba. I thought that this city was normal and bored because Sevilla and Granada have more name around the country. But now that I have been in the three cities, the most beautiful city of this travel was obviously, Córdoba. We were in a four stars hotel that we sleep so good and we have a lot of time to visite the city alone. Joan, Sergi and me used this time to walk around to saw the beautiful white streets which were narrow. The reason for these narrow streets was that in the summer there’s so hot in Córdoba so, the inhabitants want this streets to avoid warm. I want to say that these roads was spectacular because you feel free and relax when you are there. The plants hanged on the balconies make the city prettiest and more attractive. This photo is in “El Nuevo Árcangel”. The stadium of Córdoba C.F. We went to it, the first day, at the afternoon. And this is in a park that we have lunch the first day too. In the horizon there’s the “Mezquita of Córdoba”.

FINALLY TRIP

The week before The Holy Week I stayed in Andalucia. I went with three teachers and my partners. We went in AVE from Tarragona to Córdoba. We arrived in four hours more or less. We stayed in Córdoba for twodays, in Granada only some hours in a day, and the last in Sevilla for two days. Totally five days.

The first day in Córdoba we went shopping. Later we went to te Mezquita's area, where there were a lot of souvenir's shops and good views. Atnightwe had dinner at the hotel (it was delicious) and later we went to a pub. It was really nice but we were so tired. The next day we went to visit the Mezquita and the Alcázar's garden. Both were very very big and beautiful!

The third day day we went by bus to visit Granada. The trip wasreally tired, two or three hours aprox, I can't remember exactly. When we arrived we went in a touristic bus seeing all the city. We went to Albaizín, a Granada's town and we could see the Alhambra, a very big castle that has centenars of years. We had lunch at 3:00 p.m. in a city's restaurant. Later we catched the bus and we went to Sevilla. It was a lot of hours too.

We were very tired, and we arrived before the dinner. We were really lost in the city! The next day was my favourite! We visited more or less all the city with the touristic bus. The best places for me were Alcázar and Plaza de España. The last day we woke up at 8:00 a.m. and we went shopping at the day. The bought a lot of things for ours parents and family, also we bought clothes because in Sevilla                                                        there are some shops that in Tarragona there isn't.

It was a very good experience for me because it was the last trip with our partners!

Easter holidays

Hey, guys! Nice to see you (write you, read you... However is it!)
Anyway, I'm back! And I'm here to tell my fantasticeaster holidays. They weren't so long, thought they were just a week (well... Better than nothing). They came after our school trip (literally, the next week) so it's like we've been free of school two whole weeks. Yey! The schooltrip was exciting, amazing and....well, new! We went to Andalucía (two nights in Córdoba, a beautifull city, one day in the perfect city called Granada, and the other two nights in the most famous and beautiful city: Sevilla, which is more astonishing in the night: a nocturnal majestic city). I saw so many wonderful things: new culture, new people, fresh new landscapes...)

AAANYWAY! My holy week was, also, magnificient. First days I stayed at home. I mean, home is... Love!! Home, sweet home... But, some days staying home... And I was bored of it. Home, sweet boring home. So, the three-four last days, we went to the town (a little bit far aways from here. Like an hour, more or less). We stayed there. I was all day out, oround the clock (What outsider am I), with some fellows and else. It was... wow, like every few time we met together. They are all from Barcelona, so... We, hardly never, met together. The only way to meet us, all the little squad we are, is in the town. We're always laughing, 2 of  1 hours (except when we are sleeping... Of course, we don't laugh while we sleep, right?...RIGHT?) and... Well, I think the world of them. That's it. We push crazyness to the next level! The worst is that we can see us all we would like, because, like I said before, they are from Barcelona, and, obviously, we can't meet us every day. BUT I didn't write this to upset yours and mine mind, just to tell you, and share with you all, my eastern week! So, in short. This holidays were longer than the others (Schooltrip, I should remember you) and became two weeks instead of one. I went to the town, and stayed with my one & only squad (awwww... Not in a romantic stupid way, you know). And... That's all, I guess!
Write-read-see you soon!

Easter holidays

Before Easter week, me and many other people from class went on a trip to Andalusia. It started the 14th of March, and we went by AVE to Cordoba. That day we walked around the city by our own, without any guided tour. I saw many beautiful, narrow streets and took many pictures even though I don't like taking them. The next day we had a guide, and we visited the mosque/cathedral. It was very beautiful, and later we went to Cordoba's alcázar.
Cordoba's mosque/cathedral.
On the 16th we went by bus to Granada. There, we walked around the muslim district, called Albaicín. I was kind of disappointed because we didn't visit the Alhambra.  After a 3 hour long bus trip, we arrived to Seville. That first night we had dinner in a restaurant and later we went to a bar in Triana. The next day we had a guided tour around the city, and we first stopped in Spain's square. It was really beautiful and I liked it a lot.
Spain's square in Seville,
Later, we walked through small streets until we reached the cathedral. There, we went up the Giralda, which is the cathedral's main tower. We had a beautiful sight of the city from up there. When we went down, we went to Seville's alcázar. Its gardens were very beautiful and big, with lots of fountains and different kinds of trees. It was very funny when we saw a fountain with lots of big, disgusting fishes which fighted for food. Later that day, we had dinner in the same place as the day before and then went to the same Triana bar. That night, we had to pack because the next day we would end our trip. The 18th, our last day, we had free time all morning, so we could do our last shopping and have lunch. At 16:00, the AVE left and we headed back to Tarragona. We arrived at 20:45 more or less, and then we didn't have school until the 29th. I really enjoyed the trip, and my favourite city was Cordoba.

MY CARNIVAL

This year for carnaval, I didn't go out, because I was very ill. But I am going to explain you what I did two years ago.
I went with my friends and my classmates Joan and Bernat to see the different parades that there were. We dressed up as Goku and we went to the Rambla. We stayed there still the parades finished, After we talked a lot with people we knew and stayed there having good time. We said that for us the carnival of 2015 was the best carnival that we have ever seen, all the costumes were very originals. All the people were very pretty and it was a very god experience.

diumenge, 21 de febrer del 2016

My best carnival

I am a person who doesn't like very much carnival, but this doesn't mean that I don't have a good memories of one carnival, I had 13 years old (2014), when I went out with Marina, her costume was a chenese woman and my costume was a sheep. I remember that she wore a red lips and a monkey in her head. Her dress was red with a black details. My costume was like a white jumpsuit and a hood with the ears.
We met in the Pere Martell street and we went to the Rambla, and then we saw Gemma  and Minerva, we were talking when we saw a group of persons dressed like the supernenas and we took a photo with them, it was very funny.
After it, we didn't know wher Gemma and Minerva went so we continued walking Marina and me.

Carnival... Ajam... Hum... What?

Carnival... Ajam... Hum... What?

WOW! What colorful and funny carnival my classmates have had!
Jealous? Me? Hum... Of course not!
First af all, no, I didn't see the parades, and I don't regret it.
(What a freak you are...)
Please! I mean... I've seen them... One thousand billion one hundred thousand million and one thousand times! Okay, maybe NOT that much.
(I repeat, What a freak you are...)
Actually, I went to Barcelona, my dear and fantastic city!
(Wow! What a rebel you are! I think you begin be liked by me...)
Oh! Thanks conscience! But I didn't celebrate carnival, anyway.
(What the...hell!! You're disgusting!)
Shut up conscience, let me tell MY carnival!
(...)
Well... I went there with my parents, I've wanted to go there since.... Always! I have some friends there, who I hit it off with. In fact, I went there specially for one of them. He is such my best friend.
(Friends! Friendzone!)
We went to his house, and chill there, all the day. We did not a big deal. And I had a really good time, more than in any parade I've gone to or that I can remember.
WHAT CAN I SAY? Not everybody likes to watch the same celebration, EVERY YEAR, feel the same pressure (and knucle under it) due to the huge multitude, listen to the same loud and awful noise (also called " carnival music") that ALWAYS sounds through the loudspeakers, and see the same music steps, danced for some bored and exhausted people who just want to stop, lay on the cold and wet road, and just have a nap. I think I prefer to take off my own eyes with a spoon, than see that panorama once again....
My conscience has warned you: I'm such a huge freak!
(I've warned you twice, guys...)
But, I must admit that It's really funny to see the strange and tricky costumes people dress up with, the smiles that hardly everybody has on, and... Well, all the good vibes you can get from the carnival night: HAPINESS WRITTEN IN ALL THE FACES!
(A little spark of normalcy from your part!
So, that's my carnival day, and my point of view about carnival fest. Sort of hoping that You've enjoyed it!
(Oh please, they didn't! You're as boring as a potato!)
Shut your mouth!!!

With love,
Shaila
(And me, her beautiful and funny conscience)
Hi! Two weeks ago it was Carnival. I was in Tarragona and in Tarragona the Carnival is incredible, the floats are so brightless and the costumes have a lot of decorations and details. I saw it from the Rambla it was full of people, allways in Carnival is full of people. There were a lot of floats that impressed me a lot, it was one of avatars, with blue painting and shoes with light, the float of Romeo an Juliet, other with a big unicorn and a girl riding it, etc. Also i saw a lot more costumes from the other people, like people dressed like animals or inspired by movies like Star Wars, Snow White, Superman... But I went early to home because it was so cold outside and then i was watching the TV and after I went to sleep, it was a busy day!

Carnival

Through all my life  I have been on many Carnival days in my city: Tarragona. Some years I went with my family, mom, dad, Robert my brother, my aunts (they weren't coming very often) and also my cousins.
This year I decided to go out with some friends but they weren't able so on Saturday afternoon I stayed home with my family watching movies on the sofa and reading a book I bought days ago.

For sure I can say that this year wasn't one on the best carnival days I have had but I also have good memories from others. Once, I was dressed with a warm and soft dalmata dog costume made by my mom and my brother was dressed up as Peter Pan with red lips.
I can remember how overhelmed I was with so many consumes, feathers and so loud music around me. That day the weather was cold and for a second I confused the falling confetti with snow and obiously I thought it was snowing. But then I realised that it wasn't and I cried.

I like Carnival because you can wear the most strange and unusual clothes or whatever you want and no one will care about it. Although, this should happen every day.

(I haven't found the pic of me and my brother on that Carnival day)

CARNIVAL IN VIMBODÍ I POBLET

Hey, good afternoon! We are Bernat and Joan, the twins of the class, and now we are going to explain you about our Carnival, it was the Saturday 13th of 2016. We have to admit that this weekend was amazing! We went to Vimbodí i Poblet, our town, a little village in Conca de Barberà. Our Carnival started in the afternoon, after the lunch. We met with our friends: one is from Lleida, another from Montblanc, one from Tàrrega, from Barcelona... and the other friends, obviously, are from Vimbodí! They are spectacular! First, we went to the bar to play table football and watch a football match in the TV. After, we went to the street two hours more or less. We went to have dinner in the house of a friend, we ate pizza and later we ate a cake to celebrate our birthday that was two weeks before. When we were ready, we put the disguises. We were a banana for a day!
Later, we went to the pavillion, to the party. At first, we danced a song of a BANANA for a competition, it was very very funny! But we didn't win the trophy. Later, a lot of people of around Conca de Barberà were arriving to the town because the party were starting...! We met with our friends of Espluga de Francolí and we went to the party, there were two DJ's for all the night. Also, there were our parents and our little brother in the party! They were characters of STAR WARS! My mother and Marçal Darth Vader, and my father Chewbacca. The party ended at 5 o'clock, our friends and us went to our home to sleep, we were very tired for all this weekend!
See you soon! JOAN and BERNAT

Carnival 2016 Tarragona

In this year I only went to see the carnival one day, in Sunday. I went with two friends: Adrian and Miguel Angel. We met in front of our school at 19:00pm more or less to see the parades of Carnival. We didn't dress up with any costume, we only went to see the parades. There were lots of parades all were very colorful and with loud song for their dances.
In this day only the best parades that walked the last day could walk another time in Sunday. All were amazing and very cool.
The King and the Queen of last year walked in the parade of Sunday, too. When all the parades finish the hour was 23:30pm more or less, but for these parades it was worth.

Carnival

This year for Carnvival, I dressed up of American football player. I went with my friends to see rua carnival in Tarragona, it was very cool. The coach I liked most was one that dressed up of unicorn, it was very original. We saw all the rua and then we went to dinner together. When we finished dinner, we went for a walk and we laugh a lot. This it has been the best carnival I've experienced so far.

CARNIVAL 2016

At Carnival I went with my boyfriend and his friends to buy some things to disguise. Me and my boyfriend didn’t take anything from the shop. We didn’t know what to wear so we decided to search something. We found some cat ears and tails so we dress up in black color to be cats. I bought too a black necklace and a Jingle Bell. At seven o’clock more or less we went to take place to see the parade. Later some of my boyfriend’s friends came with us to see it. It was so beautiful. A lot of people dancing with great costumes and the music was great too. My favorites disguises in the parade were the Unicorns and the Avatars. I love how did they danced and the costumes they wear.

Later, when the parade finished we were hungry so we walked through the rambla to the final of it, to eat some kebabs. My mother was waiting to me and my friend so we didn’t ate anything. But later when I arrived were my mum was, she take us to a restaurant. We had to dinner a big toast with bacon, loin and cheese. I felt bad so we went home. My friend went to home with me, but I had fever so we went to sleep.

CARNIVAL 2016

This year I went to see the carnival in Tarragona. For the first day in my life it was a really good day. It wasn't so cold or rainy as all the years. I went to Tarragona in bus at 5:30pm with three friends. I was dress up like a cow, I remember when I was 5 or 6 years my costume was like a cow, too. When we arrived, we ran to go to see the parade, there was amazing. There were a lot of people witha lotof differents costumes like Olaf from Frozen, banana, shit and more original costumes.
It was so spectacular how was the parade. The people from the parade were very happy and funny.
The costume from the parade that I like so much was "Avatar". I have friends that were at the parade as unicorns. Unicorns were the winners from this year! Later we went to McDonald's and we ate a lot of hamburguers. Suddenly we caught the bus at 22:00pm and we arrived at home at 22:30pm more or less, I think this year was the best carnival I have ever happened, because I could be with my friends!

Carnival.

This year, I decided to meet with some friends and go out in Carnival. Even though, I wasn't going to dress up like anything because I've never liked costumes. The day after, a Friday, I didn't feel really well. I had a little bit of fever and migraine, but I didn't pay much attention to it. Without realising I fell asleep on the sofa from 7PM to 9PM. That's really strange for me, because I never take a nap.

The day after, Saturday (the day I had agreed to meet), I felt much worse.  I had high fever and I thought I could have catched the flu. I woke up at 9, had breakfast, went for a walk and took a picture of the sea. It was really beautiful that day.

When I returned home, my head was aching really bad, so I went to bed. All of a sudden, I fell asleep. It was 11:30AM, when I woke up it was 2PM. I still felt not okay, so I decided to stay at home.

Even this year's carnival was kind of a disaster, I have had some pretty good ones. I have dressed up as Minnie Mouse, a bee, the Sleeping Beauty, princess Sherezade, a musketeer  and a geisha. My mother loves dressing up, she likes it better than me. One year, she dressed up as a pirate. We didn't have any parrrot to put on her shoulder, so she attached a plush toy of Gallo Claudio to the costume. That was a really funny carnival.
