Christmas lights

Hi i'm Maria! Today I want to show you how I decorated my own room for Christmas. 

 One month ago I asked my parents for Christmas lights but they  said every day that thye're very expensive for me and this king of things... I was waiting for one month and a few days before Christmas when we where shopping I asked to my parents. They said: okay Maria let's see. 

We went to Leroy Merlin (http://www.leroymerlin.es/) and we were looking for them. I saw Christmas light for only 9€ they were 11 metres. And I thought: OH THATS SO CHEAP! Finally my parents bought me that Christmas lights.

When I arrived home I was very excited to light them. I started puting them all around the wall and the bed and all around the hanging pics on the wall too. Then I light them and I fell in love!

This is a very cute idea to decorate your room for Christmas! I hope you like it:)

The Invictus Class!

Hi! And let me introduce us. We are the Invictus Class!!

I'm Shaila, and i want to share with you a little part of my life; I want to talk you about my pets.

The first pet I had was a fish (I supposed like hadrly everyone), but now, we have a sweet dog, a cute cat and two beautyfull birds (one of these is a kind parrot).

All were adopted from the street (except the parrot); the little bird was the first, we found him in front of our bar's door, he was so sick; my mum caught him. Next we love and feed him, till now.

Next, we found the dog, when we were returning from our town. I was sleeping, and my mum saw it. First, my parents didn't want it, but, I promised them I will care and look after him, and, after all my pains and efforts, Pinxo is mine.

And, finally, We had Negreta, my little sweet cat. We was at the town, when she put in the motor car. We don't see it, and she was inside it all the travel, 'till the next day, when my mum, at the midday, listened a little and weak meow.

Tuesday afternoon

Today, I'm ill but I met with friends. At 16:30 I stayed with a girl that went to the school. We laughted a lot. After, We found two people that we known. When we werw walking we found an another friends and also, we laughted a lot too. Then, we went to Schleker to bought a cookies and later we went to Llao-Llao. We eat an ice cream and gofres. We laughtes a lot again too. Then a girl that went with us, she went home. Then we walked at Rambla and at the end we went home.

The Nightmare before Christmas

Hi, I’m Judith and I’m going to explain you one of my favourite movies. This film is called “The Nightmare before Christmas” and it’s a Halloween-Christmas film. And it’s about a skeleton called Jack Skeleton and he is the “Pumping king”, and he is the “king” of Halloween. All the years at Halloween, he prepares a surprise for the Halloween Town, and one year he searched something different, so he investigated a lot, but nothing appears… One they, he was taking a walk with his ghost-dog called Zero, by the forest, and then he finds seven trees making a circle, an that trees have one special door with a drawing in all of them. The seven holidays and them drawing were: Halloween – Jack-o-lantern, Christmas – Christmas Tree, Valentines Day – Heart, Saint Patricks Day – Clover, Thanksgiving – Turkey, Easter – Easter Egg and Independence Day – Firecracker. He opened the Christmas door, and he fell in this. When he arrived at the floor, he was in the Christmas Town, and he discovered a lot of things… When all of this is happening, tree kids called: Lock, Shock and Barrel, found out about this, and called all to Oogie Boogie, the bugs’man, and he ruined it all, and kidnapped Sally, the clothe-doll and Jack’s love.

Christmas in USA

Last christmas I went to USA with my family, in North Carolina. Mainly we went to visit my uncles and my cousin, so also we spent a different christmas. We were in Asheville one week, we spent the christmas eve there and we visit a lot of things and I spoke a lot of english.

The 31st of December, we took the car at six o'clock to go to Florida to visit my aunt's sister. We were eight hours in that car, it was horrible. We were in Jacksonville for 3 days and we went to visit an alligator farm and a little village.

The 3rd of January we took the car again and we went to Orlando to visit Disney World and the next day we returned to Atlanta to catch the plane to Barcelona.

The name of the wind

It is set in the Middle Ages, when the religion was into the peoples' minds and the Feudal Lords could do everything they wonted. The history is about a boy who was too clever and curious for his age. his dream was to go to the University where he could be the best alchemist and wizard. I like this tipe of book and you should read it because it isn't only about fantasy, it is about, mistery, love, Middle Ages. It is very interesting and when you start to read it you can stop it until you finish.

My Holidays to Granada

Hi, I'm Sergi and i'll explain you my travel to Albuñán (a town that is situated in Granada).

I did this travel by car, and the travel was of 8 hours long! I woke up at 6 am. And I arrived at 2 pm more or less. I went with my father and my brother. When I arrived to Albuñán the first that I did was greet my family, my oncles, my aunt and my grandma. Next I ate in a little party that was made in the square of the town. After that I went to play with some friends that I have there.

The next day I went to the pool with my friends and have the day there. So, in the town the week that I went were party and I didn't know that, so I went with my friends to play some football and other games.

The other days I went to the pool and I have the time with my friends and family. And the last day I left the town at 6 am and this day I was very tired.

CHRISTMAS IN FAMILY

In this Christmas holidays I’ll be with my family at home. We do the manger; decorate the tree and the house. Christmas Day I eat with parents and grandmother soup and pasta and baked chicken.  Also eat candies and other sweets. Afternoon my cousins and we shit “the Tió”, which gives small gifts. By Boxing Day, for lunch we eat cannelloni. My family also come from Lleida and passes the day together.
By year- end we will have dinner at my friends hockey’s house, after dinner we go to the town square to hear the chimes and eat grapes.

 At the day of Three Kings Day I am in the parade of Tarragona playing the drum and then I go with friends for a walk.

HOLIDAYS IN SARDEGNA

Hi, I’m Joan and now, I’m going to talk about my last trip. The last summer, I travelled to Sardegna with my brother Bernat. On the 19th of August, we took the plane in the Airport of Barcelona and one hour and thirty minutes later we arrived in Sardegna, in the Airport of Caglari. In the airport, there were our friends: Gianfranco and his children, Marco and Chiara. Marco has twelve years old, and Chiara has 13. They study Spanish, so we talked in Spanish all the week. When we arrived, we took the car and we went to their house, then Bernat and I put in order the bedroom. All the days, we went to the beaches less two days. Every day we went in a different beach: we went in a beach without sand, there were only little stones, another has a little island in the water, another beach was like a cave… But all the beaches were crystalline, incredible, amazing … The other two days that we didn’t go to the beach, we went to museums and played Xbox, table tennis, football or basket with Marco in the home. The launches and the dinners were amazing, the pizzas and the pasta were very, very, very good! And the cheese… Oh My God! I love Italian cheese. On the 26th of August we must to leave them. The holidays in Sardegna were incredible, we learned Italian and we were very well with Marco, Chiara, Gianfranco and Marcella, we didn’t want to leave them, even we cried. But we went to Cagliari’s Airport and we took the plane to Barcelona. In Barcelona there were my fathers and my little brother Marçal. I was very happy to see them.

MY TOWN

Hello, my name is Bernat and now, I will tell you about my town and their most beautiful places. The town that I go every summer with my parents and my brothers is called Vimbodí i Poblet. This town is very small, it has only nine hundred inhabitants but when it’s summer the population increases because there are a lot of holiday-makers. Vimbodí is a very beautiful town. It has got a lot of emblematic places: the best place for me is the monastery of Poblet because it’s a very old monastery and still maintains monks living. Others places important are the castle of Riudabella and the castle of Milmanda; two castles surrounded by vineyards, which are used to take good wines. All these places that I appointed are outside the town, but inside the town there’s a very emblematic place: the Museum of Glass of Vimbodí i Poblet is the only glass museum around Catalonia, there’s a specialist in glass that he does all the pieces of glass that are inside the museum. Finally, I would like to talk about the great atmosphere that exists between people linked to the town. I think that this good atmosphere is due to the few people that live there and the people are very good people.

Hi I'm Sergi Rodriguez Flix and now I am going to talk about my trip in Londres: I travelled in Londres the 20th of August to the 29th. 20th: We caught the plane at Barcelona's airport at a quarter past ten. When we arrived in London we went to the hotel to leave the cases and bags and to rest some time. After we went to have a snak and to visit the things that was near the hotel. Finally we went to take the tickets for the underground and after go to have dinner and to sleep. 21st: We went to the Trafalgar Square and in there, there was a lot of people doing thing for earn some money. After we went to the London eye, the Big Ben and the Parlament. And in the afternoon we were waking in the Oxford street, the street that are the best shops in the world. 22nd: This day in the mornig we went to the Tower of London to visit the jewerly Elizabeth, we had dinner in a typical place of London that it was called Subway. In the afternoon we went to a stadium, this it was Stampford Bridge, the stadium of the Chealse and we had a guide visit for all the stadium. 23rd: This day in the morning we visited the London Bride ans we could saw the ramp of the bridge open and close, we took a ship and we went to the river Tàmesi. In the afternoon we went to the Greenwich meridian that it was in the north of London.And we took a photo in it, because the people say that if yoy take a photo with it you will be lucky. 24th: This day we had a problem, because we wanted to go to Abbey Road, where the Beatles took a photo crossing the zebra pass and we had a mistake, because we went to the street Abby Road in the outskirts of London and we had to go to Sant Jame's street to did a photo of us crossing the zebra pass. In the afternoon we went to two museums, on of these was the Brotish museum that for me was very boring but the other museum was the Wax Museum, that was great. 25th: All the day, we went to the Candem Market, that it is a enormus market that you can buy all the things you need and so cheap. 26th: In the morning we were to the Emirates Stadium, the stadium of Arsenal that is bigger and more interestong than the stadium of Chelsea. And in the afternoon we met with Gabriel, a boy that cae last year to London. We were in Hyde Park going with the bike for it. 27th: In the morning we were to the Bakingham Palace and we could saw the change guard and it was so good. In the afternoon we were to the Madam Tussos's museum. 28th: All this day we were walking to find presents for our and presents for the rest of the family. 29th: In the last day we went to the museum of the art and cience and after we went to the airport to take the plane for come to Tarragona.

MOCKINGJAY!

Hi! I'm Carla, and I'm going to explain one of my favourites films: "Mockingjay"!

This is the third part of "The hunger games". In this film, Katniss Everdeen (the principal character) become a revelion symbol, she's the Mockingjay. They want to win the Capitol, because the president Snow wants to obligue to all the districts to obey all his rules, but they don't like this and they make a revolution.
In this revolution the president Snow use Peeta Melark to discourage Katniss, because she is in love with him. They fight against the Capitol and their soldiers. Also they make a plain to save Peeta, Johanna and Anne. Later they save all these old winners of the Hunger Games. Peeta is very strange, Katniss goes to talk with him and suddenly he take Katniss and try to kill she. What's happens with Peeta? Katniss is the love of his life...

Hockey and sticks in the face.

I don't know how to even start but well.

All starts when you're peacefully playing hockey, defensing and all that stuff. Then, out from nowhere a stick is in your face and you don't know what's happening. Someone tells you that you're bleeding. 

Wait.

You're bleeding.

Everything is pretty strange, your eyebrow is open and you start to pour water on it. It hurts. 

15 minutes after you go to the hospital and you have to wait more than 3 HOURS. But hey, at least they don't have to sew the wound. They put some kind of glue on it and then, you realize that you will have a scar. Oh, perfect. 

Then it starts to become black, you must take a pill every 8 hours for 3 days. Ice is your new best friend and you hope that they can take that glue off from your face the first day you go back to the hospital. 

Well, now you have a new story to tell and a scar to love.
